ABERDAM Dutch Fries will be launching in Sportsterz in Merchant City today from 4pm Ad
Scotland is well-known among locals for its thriving food scene and many authentic-tasting dishes. But one Aberdeen food brand is going above and beyond to incorporate great flavours from overseas into its menu, and give customers something new and exciting to try when it comes to eating out.
ABERDAM specialises in traditional Aberdeen Angus smash burgers too, highlighting the local roots of the brand. Made from PGI-certified prime Aberdeen Angus, the burgers are delivered freshly minced to the business's kitchens and smashed in-house on the grill each time before being loaded up with toppings and served in a sesame-seeded brioche bun - including American cheese, pink garlic mayo, dill pickles, streaky bacon and grilled chorizo.
David Griffiths, co-owner of ABERDAM Dutch Fries says: "Both myself and co-owner Michael Roberston, are born and bred Aberdonians and feel that the North East of Scotland is one of the most incredible natural larders in the world. We are extremely passionate about representing this as we expand the brand across the country.
"We partner perfectly with live sports, music and games venues – so we are really excited about taking complete control of the food offering inside Sportsterz and continuing to build our presence in the city centre." Since then, ABERDAM has dominated the Aberdeen street food scene and continued to reinvest in order to keep up with demand. The venue recently underwent a large extension and now operates through a fully fitted catering kitchen - customers can even order from the tasty menu to their doorstep via courier Deliveroo.
