A special edition of a special edition with two turbos sounds like a thrilling ride car auto cars
built a very special version of the second-generation Viper called the ACR. John Hennessey built an even more extreme version called the 650R. Now, somebody has strapped a couple of turbochargers onto one of those and it’s up for sale.ACR with a V10 engine, BBS wheels, a sport suspension, and other upgrades over the “regular” Viper. At some point in the time after that, the folks over at Hennessey got a hold of this car and basically gave it a new heart.
It’s technically the same V10 but now it has new internals, bigger throttle bodies, a high-flow intake manifold, and Motec engine management to handle the extra displacement. Power was rated at the time at 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. That’s respectable for a car made two decades later.
