Seahawks defense came to play!
Alas, the day has finally arrived. The long-awaited return of our beloved Seattle Seahawks to television. Yeah, yeah, “It’s just preseason.” Whatever, shut up. Our guys made the trip to Southern California to face off against the Los Angeles Chargers and their new head coach, Jim Harbaugh. Of course, I wouldn’t be doing my job if I didn’t mention that Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald previously served as Harbaugh’s defensive coordinator at the University of Michigan.
A hard hitting K’Von Wallace would set Coby Bryant up with the first interception of the Seahawks preseason, which George Holani quickly capitalized on, bouncing outside for six. Jason Myers declined the opportunity to tack on an extra point to the Holani touchdown. The 3rd quarter didn’t feature many starters, nor did it feature much offense outside of the Seahawks opening drive, which was ultimately stopped on 4th down at the goal line.
