Ok’s Deli made a name for itself first as a pop-up in 2020 and sold out its sought-after Asian American-inspired deli sandwiches for nine months straight at local breweries such Novel Brewing Company.Patricia Chang/Special to SFGATE “We call it a deli, but this is really just a restaurant. We have an expo, the line, we call out the sandwiches when they come in, so it’s really a normal restaurant service,” Ok said. “I think that setup creates more attention, too, because it’s not just someone banging out a bunch of sandwiches — they’re treated more like dishes.
Le’s worked with his friend Ok since the beginning and said that their sandwiches are a harmony of various ingredients, working together to give customers that perfect bite.
