Design firm Made renovated this Italianate townhouse in Cobble Hill which dates to 1884 and features six bedrooms and six bathrooms across five floors.

New York’s Four Seasons Unveils New VIP Experiences, From Whiskey Tastings to Personal Shoppingcan’t be afraid of a little color, specifically the color green.

According to the listing, the Italianate-style abode on tree-lined Clinton Street dates back to 1884 when it was built by architect Fred Lockwood. More recently, the 25-foot-wide spread underwent a richly hued transformation at the hands of , a Brooklyn-based design/build firm whose clients include Lily Allen and David Harbour. The revamp preserved much of the home’s original details while also incorporating new materials in a modern way.

“The liberal use of color, particularly through tiling, creates specificity in each of the home’s spaces, from the foyer to the bathrooms,” notes the listing, which is being held by Compass agent Nick Gavin of Nick Gavin Properties. “The result is a timeless homage to the home’s captivating history while simultaneously forging a refined new heritage.” Set over five floors, the digs comprise six bedrooms and six baths across 5,500 square feet.

Past a set of pocket doors, the floors of the dining room are decked out with glossy, parsley-hued tiles from Ait Manos, which you’ll also find in the kitchen, but more on that in a bit. The room includes a second wood-burning fireplace, a patterned ceiling with coved edges, and tall windows, one that opens to a deck overlooking the backyard. Once you do step into the kitchen, a sculptural eat-in island is encased in the same parsley green tiles as the floor.

Three additional bedrooms and a bathroom can be found on the fourth level, plus a flex space that can double as a library or playroom, while the top floor has a bathroom between two large rooms that offer an abundance of options for a home office, an art studio, and/or additional bedrooms.
