US officials are not yet able to say who launched the objects
A third 'unidentified object' has been shot down from above the United States and Canada in as many days. It comes eight days after a suspected Chinese surveillance balloon was shot out of the sky.

A flying object brought down over the remote northern coast of Alaska on Friday was more cylindrical and described as a type of airship.
