Michael Biehn was born July 31, 1956, in Anniston, Ala., to Don and Marcia Connell Biehn. The family moved to Lincoln, Neb., when Michael was young.such as 1986’s “Aliens,” 1989’s “The Abyss,” 2002’s “Clockstoppers.” He is also seen in the director’s cut of “Terminator 2: Judgement Day,” although his scene was cut from the original film. Other roles include 1988’s “The Seventh Sign,” 1990s Navy SEALs, 1993’s “Tombstone,” 2007’s “Planet Terror” and many more.
Biehn was nearly turned down for the role of Reese because he was speaking in a Southern accent at his audition, according. He’d been working on “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.” He was able to get a second audition and won the role.Initially, Arnold Schwarzenegger was considered for Biehn’s role in “The Terminator.” According to the 2009 book, “The Futurist: The Life and Films of James Cameron,” by Rebecca Keegan, Cameron felt the former Mr. Universe was too buff to play Reese but met with him anyway.
