The film tells the story of three witches who are accidentally brought back to life in Salem on Halloween night.

Taking place in the underground cellar of the historic building in central Manchester, it is screening seven classic Halloween films 'perfect for horror fans and practical magic lovers alike'. The 'horrifyingly unique, immersive experience' is the first of its kind and involves players being given a wristband and released into the attraction to compete to find two unique symbols and exit within seven minutes. However, they will not be alone.

This year also sees the return of three 'terrifying' mazes - The Attic: Terror of the Towers, Darkest Depths and The Invitation - as well as Trick O Treat Town with Haribo where visitors get a tote bag to fill with treats as they make their way down Spooky Avenue and other streets, with sweets and surprises along the way.

Its notorious Journey to Hell is returning with brand new scare zones and newly added, 'never-before-seen scare experiences' throughout October. The exhibition, entitled Julia and Axel - Thirty Years of Favourite Stories - celebrates their work, which includes popular tales Stick Man and Room on the Broom.

It's open Tuesday to Friday 11am to 5pm, weekends 10am to 5pm and is closed on Mondays, except bank holidays. Free tickets can be booked online.
