Lace up your Jordans, Yeezys and Chucks for the return of. The touring show offers sneakerheads and hypebeasts the chance to buy, sell and trade shoes in a huge marketplace catering to all those who see their kicks not just as fashionable footwear but as art, culture and a lifestyle.
In addition to more than 200 shoe and streetwear vendors, there will be sneaker trivia, rare shoes, giveaways, live auctions and more. You can also get your shoes authenticated by eBay experts. The all-ages event runs from noon to 7 p.m.; tickets are $29 at axs.com. 700 14th St. in Denver.Oskar Blues Brewery in Longmont gets into the spirit of the season with Dank Fest. Beers include Nug Boat Captain, an 8.2 percent ABV hazy double IPA, and Dweeb, an 8 percent West Coast-style double IPA made with rye; The music kicks off at 12:30 with the High Lonesome Trio. They’ll be followed by Deer Creek Sharp Shooters at 2 p.m., The Wrecklunds at 4 p.m. and Tenth Mountain Division at 6 p.m. A percentage of proceeds will be going to Can’d Aid, the brewery-founded nonprofit. 1640 S. Sunset St. in Longmont.
The party runs from noon to 4 p.m. at The Brighton, 3403 Brighton Blvd., one of Non Plus Ultra’s local event venues . Entry is free, but a $20 donation is encouraged and will be donated to the Denver Park Trust, which raises money for Denver Parks and Recreation to improve and add new parks.
