The CMT Awards is headed back to Austin for another year.
AUSTIN, Texas — The weekend is upon us and, as always, there are a ton of things going on in the Austin area! From a big race to a big night for country music, there's no shortage of fun activities happening over the next few days.Free live music kickoff parties will be held at Meridian, the Inspired Minds Art Center, Willie's Joint Bar & Grill and Nate's Coffee & Cocktails on Friday, ahead of the main event on Saturday.
The 47th annual event will go from the starting line over Lady Bird Lake to the Finish Line Festival at Vic Mathias/Auditorium Shores.
