Police are searching for two men they say broke into two homes and attempted to break into three others in the Montaire Estates in Simi Valley
Police responded to calls at five separate residences in the Montaire Estates in Simi Valley overnight, around 3 a.m. Sunday. According to officials, three homeowners reported that two men came into their backyards and attempted to break into their houses, but were unsuccessful. Two other homeowners reported that the men were successful at their homes, and got away with undisclosed items.
Police say both suspects are men. One of them was caught on camera wearing all black with a red baseball cap and a dark face covering. The second man was seen in black pants, a green sweatshirt, red baseball cap and white face covering. Police are still investigating the crimes.
