The event, which ran from April through October in 1968, also changed downtown, adding new landmarks including Tower of the Americas and Hemisfair Park.
Little surprise then that HemisFair prompted the printing of numerous postcards showing off its many sights, including the tower, the Fiesta Gardens, a monorail and some of the fair's pavilions, hosted by roughly 30 nations and 15 corporations.Scroll down to view imagesUTSA Libraries Digital Collections / San Antonio Fair, Inc.
