'Our goal is to provide representation for all people.'

Fitness can often feel like something marketed to a certain type of person, but Julia and Cornelia Gibson, sisters and founders of, are making sure that all people feel represented within the wellness industry. Inspired by their own fitness journeys, they created the Toned yoga mats featuring empowering images of Black women practicing yoga.

"We started with images of Black women because that is whose journeys we most closely relate to, but our goal is to provide representation for all people," they told POPSUGAR. Julia and Cornelia plan on expanding their collection to further represent people of all sizes and ethnicities."Our goal is to provide visual affirmations that remind people that they are not alone in their health journeys," they said.

There are currently four different designs available ranging from $60 to $80 and in a three millimeter or five millimeter thickness. The mats are made from eco-friendly materials and can handle the heat of your favorite hot yoga classes. Check out all of the designs ahead.
