CLEVELAND, Ohio – The days are getting shorter, the evenings cooler. It can only mean one thing: It’s a good time to find airfare bargains for off-season travel. With Labor Day in the rear-view mirror, airlines are lowering prices to fill seats through the end of the year.
Numerous carriers, including Aer Lingus, Breeze and Frontier, launched fare sales this week for travel this fall and beyond. Most of the deals, alas, aren’t good for travel during the busy Thanksgiving or Christmas holidays. But if you’re able to get away in October or early November, you may find a deal too good to pass up.Aer Lingus, which flies nonstop from Cleveland to Dublin, Ireland, launched a sale this week that features fares as low as $437 round-trip. The sale fares are valid from Oct. 1-Dec. 15 and Jan. 7-March 31, 2026.through Oct. 25, when it reverts to four times per week. The flight will run through the winter next year for the first time since it was launched in 2023. Frontier, which offers more nonstop destinations from Cleveland Hopkins than any other carrier, recently put its 2026-2027 GoWild! All-You-Can-Fly Annual Pass on sale for $299 . And customers can begin to use it right away. The pass allows travelers to book an unlimited number of flights through April 2027. But there are lots of blackout dates, caveats and rules, so please read the fine print. The sale price is good through Sept. 5.
