Thi and Rance, 28, thought up the idea recently, and less than half an hour later, they had birthed an Instagram page, a website, the designs and a Google sign-up sheet, ready for singletons to fall in love.‘We never thought this would ever happen,’ Thi continued. ‘We started this as a joke, a joke that turned into execution that turned into virality that turned into actual matchmaking.
‘The Google sheets were jammed. There were like 700 people on one Google Sheet. It went past the perimeter of Google Sheets and froze the whole thing.Rance insisted they were trying to get Google to provide more firepower, so we can all catch back up. And the pair have clearly found a niche, with people falling for each other in the makeshift pods even quicker than they did on the show.Okay, so there have been no proposals just yet, but one couple did ‘meet’ each other’s families – over a video chat.
