Folks in Steelton might want to keep an eye out because it looks like there is a bear roaming around somewhere there.Either way, Chow Chows can be mean and bears can be meaner, so be on the lookout because the Steelton Borough Police Department posted Saturday onAccording to police, a resident on the 500 block of Lincoln Street called to report that she believed there was a small bear in her garage. Police responded but were unable to find a bear.
Police say the Pa. Game Commission was contacted, and that any resident who has an interaction or sighting of a bear should stay away from it. If it is a lost cub, they say, it can pose a danger to anyone attempting to get near it.So, keep your eyes open for a bear in the borough, stay away and phone it in as soon as possible if you see one.
