Four people have died and property has been damaged in what started as a protest over service delivery.

Member of the mayoral committee for Community Safety Letlogonolo Moseki says it's political sabotage.Meanwhile, Ekurhuleni mayor Tania Campbell says the violent riots in Thembisa are not a result of a political battle.
