Thankfully but this may not be the last time TwitterX TechNave

As the story continues, Elon Musk seems to be quite obsessed with the new X logo. It was only last week when he wanted to remove the Twitter name from its headquarters building in San Francisco, and then built a huge X with strobing lights on top of it.

The huge X sign on top of the HQ only lasted for a few days, though, as it got taken down due to numerous complaints of the brightly lit flashlight by neighbours who live nearby. Despite the complaints, city inspectors were denied access to the rooftop, as being told by Twitter X staff that the X logo was a “temporary lighted sign for an event.”— Christopher J. Beale July 29, 2023 I would be fucking LIVID. Imagine this fucking X sign right across from your bedroom. #x #twitter pic.twitter.

— kyle July 29, 2023 The X logo on the rooftop was a notice of violation, explained by Patrick Hannan, Communications Director of the San Francisco Department of Building Inspection and City Planning. He told the media that “over the weekend, the Department of Building Inspection and City Planning received 24 complaints about the unpermitted structure, including concerns about its structural safety and illumination.

The building's owner would be fined by the department for “building permits for the installation and removal of the structure” and covering the inspection and investigation costs. However, this may not be the last time that we see the X logo, as Elon Musk said the company is working on a newer one to replace the blue bird logo.
