So the Phillies trailed before they batted, which meant they were under pressure from the start. Much of the Phillies’ success has been centered around offensive flow. But as they lost three of their last four games, the cadence of that lineup stopped feeling as metronomic. The top three of Kyle Schwarber, Trea Turner and Harper was functioning fine. But the combination of right-handed-hitting Alec Bohm and lefty Bryson Stott behind them was not converting as many chances as the Phillies needed.
