After a seven-medal haul at the Commonwealth Youth Games in Trinidad and Tobago, teenage swimmer Inez Miller says she's determined to push for higher honours.

She won gold in the 200 metres freestyle, gold in the 400m freestyle, gold in the mixed 4 x 200m relay, silver in the 100m freestyle, bronze in the 50m freestyle, bronze in the mixed 4 x 100m freestyle relay, and bronze in the mixed 4 x 100m medley relay."I feel very honoured being able to represent Australia."Inez said she discovered she was a good swimmer soon after she learned to swim, and was racing by the age of seven, and more competitively by 12.

"Trying to make senior teams, trying to make more teams in the future, constantly improving," she said. Inez is the daughter of City of Nedlands Mayor Fiona Argyle, who said it was a fantastic result for her daughter.
