Brayden Sharp earns award after a solid season in all facets of the game.

In district play, the Baylor commit went 4-1 on the mound with a 0.42 ERA and 67 strikeouts. At the plate, Sharp slugged three homers and drove in 11 runs while batting .409. And in the field, the junior didn;t make an error, made 38 putouts and had one assist. Ethan Coronel, a fellow junior on The Woodlands, was selected as the league’s Newcomer of the Year. Coronel pitched 411/3 innings in league play with 43 strikeouts and a 0.51 ERA.
Oak Ridge leader JJ Peirce was selected as Coach of the Year. The War Eagles won the district title, had a 26-10-2 record, and reaced the regional semifinals for the first time since 2016.Oak Ridge had two pitchers make first team. Senior Aden Lucas and Hayden Morris earned the nod there as the 1-2 punch for the War Eagles. Grand Oaks junior Hudson Hamilton and Willis sophomore Maddox Keo were also first team on the mound.
Oak Ridge led with two first team outfield selections in senior Grant Gilbert and junior Dillon Staples. College Park senior Gavin Morgan, The Woodlands senior Conner Doucet and Willis senior Ayden Slott rounded out the first team outfield selections.
