THE Westin Manila, a wellness-focused hotel managed by Marriott International, made a triumphant debut in the recently concluded 2024 Philippine Culinary Cup, winning a total of 14 medals.
It was the hotel's first time competing in the country's largest cook-off arena with a lineup of talents led by Executive Chef Rej Casanova.Commis 3 Angelika Tirad was named Champion in the French Touch Dessert category, while Executive Sous Chef Daryl Yulo Sy got the Highest Gold in the United States Lamb category. Executive Chef Rej Casanova got Silver - 1st Runner Up for French Touch Seafood and a Silver in the Plant-Based category.
