The Weeknd has cancelled his planned Rose Bowl stadium concert in Pasadena, California, and donated to wildfire relief efforts in the wake of the devastating blazes that swept through the city. The donations are being made in partnership with World Food Program USA and The Weeknd’s XO Humanitarian Fund to support firefighters and displaced residents.

The music superstar is the latest in a line of high-profile celebrities that have donated to relief efforts in recent days. Beyoncé$1 million in partnership with his his Re:wild organization and Taylor Swift donated an unknown sum to a variety of organizations, to name a few. Meanwhile, Disney donated $15 million and Warner Bros. Discovery committed $15 million for relief efforts while Amazon, Comcast and Netflix directed $10 million apiece and Sony pledged an additional $5 million. Paramount Global and Fox Corp added $1 million. YouTube and Google announced that the companies had committed $15 million in addition to opening up studio space for creators that have been impacted by the disaster.
