TheWalkingDead star Norman Reedus has postponed a scheduled appearance at the Fandemic Tour convention 'due to an accident while filming,' however it has not been confirmed which project the accident occurred on.
The Walking Dead season 11 star Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl Dixon, has reportedly been injured while filming. The second half of AMC’s zombie drama's finale season 11 premiered its first episodes in February, with the final episodes expected to premiere sometime later in the year. Season 11 loosely adapts the storyline from issues #175-193 of The Walking Dead comic, introducing the most advanced, post-apocalyptic society thus far: the Commonwealth.
Daryl has been a staple of the post-apocalyptic series since The Walking Dead season 1. Following Rick Grimes’ departure in season 9, Reedus’ Daryl took over as one of Alexandria and the other survivors' de facto leaders alongside Maggie Greene/Rhee . In season 11, Maggie has refused to become a part of the Commonwealth while Daryl accepted their offer and joined their military.
Given that Reedus’ role in the universe will continue, the actor will presumably appear in The Walking Dead season 11’s final episode. Still, it’s possible Daryl and Carol depart the flagship series for their spin-off before the finale, leaving episode 24 to other characters like Maggie, Negan, Aaron, Ezekiel, Eugene, Rosita, Gabriel, Judith, or maybe even Rick and Michonne.
