While the zombie apocalypse has forced Daryl to adapt to the new world, he never had a huge issue fighting zombies or living in harsh conditions. Instead, it was opening up and trusting people that he found difficult, but when he finally did, it led to some of Daryl Dixon's best-ever Walking Dead moments.

After getting knocked out by one of the soldiers, Daryl wakes up with his hand chained to the wall, which is the sort of position he has become fairly familiar with. The theme of Daryl getting captured in The Walking Dead started in season 3 when he was kidnapped and forced to fight his own brother. Since then, he has found himself in the custody of the Saviors, Terminus, and the Reapers.
