After it was announced in March 2022 that Maggie and Negan would be getting their own spin-off series, information about The Walking Dead: Dead City's cast, story, release date, and the trailer has slowly been released. Loosely based on the characters from Image Comics, The Walking Dead: Dead City is the fourth spin-off in The Walking Dead franchise, which sees Maggie Rhee and Negan Smith reunite for another adventure as they head into Manhattan to find Maggie's son, Hershel .
The Walking Dead: Dead City Confirmed In March 2022, AMC announced that a spinoff involving Maggie Rhee and Negan Smith was in development . Given that this piece of news arrived months before season 11 of The Walking Dead finished, not much was known about the spinoff other than the fact that Eli Jorné would be the showrunner and Cohan and Morgan will serve as executive producers.
Another character that is set to cause trouble for Negan and Maggie is Željko Ivanek's "The Croat"; he is described by The Walking Dead: Dead City stars to have a close connection to Negan. Logan Kim will also be making his debut in The Walking Dead spinoff, playing Maggie's son, Hershel . Dead City's supporting cast also includes Mahina Napoleon, Jonathan Higginbotham, Michael Anthony, and Trey Santiago-Hudson, who will be playing Ginny, Tommaso, Luther, and Jano.
