Country singer Sundance Head is back home after a shooting mishap at his ranch on Friday, according to social media posts.
Country singer Sundance Head , winner of season 11 of NBC 's ' The Voice ,' is recovering after being injured in a shooting mishap Friday at his Texas ranch. According to Head's Facebook page, he was putting away a gun at his ranch when it slipped out of the holster. The gun hit the side of a Jeep and discharged, striking him in the stomach.

The bullet missed all his vital organs and no internal damage was done by the bullet, his wife said. In a post on Saturday, Head's wife said he was released from the hospital on Friday and is recovering at home.
