The new Covid-19 vaccine will be available in Alaska next week, according to State Epidemiologist and Chief of the Alaska Section of Epidemiology at the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services, Dr. Joe McLaughlin.

Anchorage resident Anna Crocker captured video of a bull moose tangling with a swing hanging off a tree in their yard on the morning of Sept. 13 in a Sand Lake neighborhood.

Other people in the video were heard contemplating how they were going to get to school that morning with a frustrated moose just outside their door. In a message to Alaska's News Source, Crocker wrote “Dear Dimond High Attendance office, my daughter will be late today.”
