Summary Halle Berry and Mike Colter explain The Union’s ending and what happened to Nick Faraday. The movie follows New Jersey-based construction worker Mike McKenna , who is unexpectedly approached by his former girlfriend and Union agent Roxanne Hall to take on a dangerous job. Along with Wahlberg and Berry, the cast of The Union includes J.K. Simmons, Jackie Earle Haley, Jessica De Gouw, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Colter, who portrays Nick.
COLTER: He sort of made his bed. He's a lion and had a moment where he could have decided to do something else, but he decided had this opportunity to further his own agenda. At the end of the film, the only thing standing between him and this beautiful life he thought he was going to share with Roxanne is Roxanne.
What Led To Nick’s Death In The Union? Close In the opening sequence, Nick and other Union agents are endangered while trying to recoup CIA information, revealed to be about people who worked for Western allies, and he is seemingly shot dead. When Nick reemerges, as Roxanne and Mike are securing the briefcase, he accuses Tom Brennan of being an informant and works with Juliet to unknowingly switch the trunks, double-crossing The Union.
The Union 2 hasn't been confirmed, and poor reception from critics and audiences may spell uncertainty.
