The UK Civil Aviation Authority has rubber-stamped a trial for drones to ferry coronavirus tests and personal protective equipment to a hospital on the Isle of Mull, off the coast of Scotland.
The UK is already trialling drones elsewhere to deliver urgent medical equipment between different hospitals.Drones will be used to deliver coronavirus tests and personal protective equipment to a hospital an island off the West coast of Scotland. The journey is only ten miles but involves a ferry.
