New BBC2 crime thriller The Turkish Detective is set to kick off on Sunday, 7 July, and it looks set to be a firm favourite among TV viewers. The drama opens with the murder of a 19 year old student who has links to Istanbul's wealthy elite.
Yasemin, who has lived in Turkey and Australia, graduated from Müjdat Gezen Konservatuarı with a degree in theatre arts. She went on to pursue a career in acting, and has appeared in TV shows, films and miniseries, mainly in Turkey. Prior to her relationship with Erdal, Yasemin dated Turkish model Armagan Oguz. She has also reportedly dated Ibrahim Celikkol, Onur Tuna and Gökhan Çelikçakır in the past.
