“I thought it would be an opportunity to show them some leadership”.

Their mother, Jasmine Arrington says their passion for picking up trash all started as kind of a punishment. It was a way to get them to turn off the video games. ″I thought they could be more productive,” said Jasmine.

“I thought it would be an opportunity to show them some leadership”. What she didn’t expect, was for her children to start helping elderly neighbors bring in their trash bins. Creating not only a big chain act of kindness, but a business. “She gave him a tip, and the rest was history,” explained Jasmine. “ I made logos, printed flyers, and they went out selling it as a service”. The young entrepreneurs say they spend 6 days out of the week bringing in trash cans or picking up trash off the side of the road. But not everything is about the money for these boys. They tell 19 News on Sundays they go back to their roots.“The city does what it can but the city needs help and assistance,” said Jasmine. They’re wanting to expand outside of the land they’ve done clean up jobs in both Garfield and Maple Heights. " I take more pride in it and I feel more confident about it,” said Willis. “Just seeing the difference of the trash problem being solved it really makes me feel better”. Willis told 19 News he hopes to one day own a fleet of garbage trucks that go around the city and clean up. Drevian says they’re hoping to expand their reach and are looking for other young adults that are at least 15 to join them. “Become a fix to the problem, not a part of the problem,” said Willis. “And also respect your parents”. Jasmine says the boys are collecting money to expand their trash bin service.
