The top 10 places to live in Nottinghamshire have been announced by the Muddy Stilettos website. With Nottingham being at the heart of the county it is no surprise that The Park in the city has made it onto the list.
Mapperley Mapperley has been praised for being the perfect blend of a town and the countryside due to its quiet location between the rural villages and the bustling city centre. The main part of Mapperley is Mapperley Top, a high street which boats a great selection of shops and cafes, as well as lovely views of the city.
Wollaton It's no surprise that Wollaton has made the list once again, as it is famous for its deer park and Wollaton Hall which stand tall at the centre of the community. There is also a number of quaint pubs and other independent businesses in the town. There are also some fantastic transport links for if you want to nip into the city or travel to another part of the county.
Edwinstowe Edwinstowe is best known for Sherwood Forest and the Major Oak, and has previously been named Nottinghamshire's best place to live. The rural location is surrounded by folklore and countryside but it is still less than an hour from both Nottingham and Sheffield. The area is also well known for its schools, friendly residents and strong sense of community.
