David Tennant and four more actors have joined The Thursday Murder Club cast for Netflix's newest crime comedy movie.
, Naomi Ackie , and three more actors toJonathan Pryce , Daniel Mays , and Henry Lloyd-Hughes have also been tapped for the project, which is currently slated to begin its production later this month. This marks Tennant’s first major movie project in a long while, since lending his voice in the 2022 animated movie The Amazing Maurice.
“In a peaceful retirement village, four unlikely friends meet weekly in the Jigsaw Room to discuss unsolved crimes; together, they call themselves the Thursday Murder Club,” the synopsis for Osman’s novel reads. “When a local developer is found dead with a mysterious photograph left next to the body, the Thursday Murder Club suddenly find themselves in the middle of their first live case.
