Jacqueline Herrera, managing partner of the, says they've been getting multiple requests for their take on the Vietnamese sandwich.
"The idea came from my love for banh mi sandwiches," Herrera said. I have been eating the ones from Roostar on Gessner for years. Not always being able to make the drive, I started making them at the shop using our pork belly on Saturdays a few years ago."
