You pretend to be from our local police department or the Internal Revenue Service.

You’ve gotten really good somehow about learning your victim’s bank account information. Our banks are supposed to be the most secure in the world. But you have ways of draining people’s accounts.No corner of our lives is spared. Any letter or text or email or phone call could be the latest scheme. Until recently I taught everyone a giant clue to see through you. If your English was poor in written text, filled with bad grammar and misspelled words, there were no worries. An obvious fake., you can take the most error-ridden letter and within two seconds clear it up so it’s perfect. That’s a dangerous tool for you to have. As if you needed more. (Dark web, anyone?)from their government and ignore it. Even though the logo is real and the grammar is perfect there’s a better than an even chance it’s not real. How to know? How about the text messages that say we have a package that has had trouble in delivery? “Click here for more information.”You learn about us on social media sites such as Facebook and use that personal knowledge to gain entry into our lives. It’s masterful. You are smart and relentless. I’ve heard it time and again that you and your cheating colleagues have great talents that could do wonderful things for the world. But while millions of Americans struggle to pay their bills with money they earn in minimum-wage jobs, your take-home pay must be astounding. All you need is one big score a day.
