The Simpsons episode, which originally aired in 1991 during the show's third season, featured Jackson as the voice of Leon Kompowsky, a man who believes he's the"Bad" singer. Jackson, a fan of the show, offered to guest star and was originally credited under the pseudonym"John Jay Smith.""The guys I work with -- where we spend our lives arguing over jokes -- were of one mind on this," he added."The documentary gave evidence of monstrous behavior.

"I’m against book burning of any kind. But this is our book, and we’re allowed to take out a chapter," Brooks added in the interview.
