The new documentary 'The Serial Killer's Apprentice' follows Dr. Ramsland who dives into the mind and memory of Elmer Henley to discover what motivated him to act as an apprentice to the infamous Houston serial killer, Dean Corll.
"The Serial Killer's Apprentice" airs at 9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, on Investigation Discovery. In this documentary, Dr. Katherine Ramsland interviews Elmer Wayne Henley, the sole survivor of the 1973 Houston mass murders committed by Dean Corll.
