A one-of-a-kind seasonal train ride based on the classic Christmas film The Polar Express is coming to Scotland this festive season, and tickets are currently available for almost half price.
There is nothing that says Christmas more than a festive train ride, and an official Polar Express experience is coming to Scotland.
The experience itself, which is suitable for people of all ages, is a fully immersive theatrical event that lets you feel what it would be like to journey onboard The Polar Express. The train journey will take around one hour, and will depart from Waverley railway station. According to The Polar Express Train Ride website, guests are encouraged — though not required — to wear pyjamas and dressing gowns just as the characters in the book do. However, for safety purposes, guests are asked to wear sturdy and closed toed shoes.
