“Our primary goal is to support individuals and families during and after the effects of Hurricane Helene,” Major Keath Biggers, Area Commander of The Salvation Army of Northeast Florida said in a press release. “We are working to get ahead of the storm to provide essential supplies and support during this critical time.”The Clay County Rapid Relief Unit and Jacksonville Canteen are on standby for deployment to affected areas, with volunteers from Clay County, and staff from St. Johns County.
