Duckworth says he was in a slump for the first few games of the season but last week, he bounced back.
The Rich’s Car Wash Player of the Week is Jackson senior quarterback Landon Duckworth. The 4-star threw for 535 yards and five touchdowns, completing 24 of his 31 passes. The dual threat QB also ran for a score in the Aggies 49-7 win over reigning 3A state champion Mobile Christian.
Aggies head coach Cody Flournoy says he’s pleased with Duckworth’s performance as well as the rest of him team. Jackson is the No. 1 team in the state in 4A. Duckworth, like many other players, are homegrown right from Jackson and Friday night, they showed the Port City and others across the state, what they were made of.
Rich’s Car Wash Director of Operations David Medlin says it’s an honor to highlight talented athletes from across the area just like Duckworth.
