Xiaomi has finally brought the Redmi Note 12 series onto the global stage. They all feature 6.67-inch AMOLED displays with the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G also packing a 200MP camera.

Always a popular choice among buyers looking for a bang-for-buck smartphone, the Redmi Note 12 series features four models for people to pick from: the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 12 5G and the Redmi Note 12.
Under the hood meanwhile, the two Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G and the Note 12 Pro 5G come with a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 system-on-chip, the same one found on its midrange rival the Samsung Galaxy A34. This gets mated to up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It comes with Android 12 out of the box, with a skin of MIUI 13 over it.
Other features of note include a 5,000mAh battery on both smartphones, though the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G gets a faster 120W fast charging compared to the non-Plus’ 67W fast charging. They also come with stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack along with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, an IR blaster, as well as support for 5G, WiFi 6, NFC and Bluetooth 5.2 wireless connectivity.EUR499As for the Redmi Note 12 5G, it has a display of the same size as the Pro models, but the 6.
Under the hood, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 system-on-chip, meaning it lacks 5G connectivity .
