On the eve of Masandawana's NedbankCup semi-final clash against BidvestWits, the uncharacteristically jittery coach Pitso Mosimane has declared that his team’s preparation has been stymied IOLSport

The semi-final will be tomorrow evening at the Orlando Stadium and will mark the restart of football in South Africa after a protracted period of uncertainty.

“We were doing the wrong type of training because we thought that we would be starting around July 18,” said Mosimane. “There was an agreement from the PSL to train in the first week of July and from that point onwards it was a great rush. We thought games would start around July 15.” He said vastly different training was required to bring the best out of the body after four months of inactivity.
