And it's a good one, because we know there's been some confusion and debate over why an external Voice to Parliament is needed when there are Indigenous voices and politicians inside the Parliament of Australia.
They say having an independent body of Indigenous people is the best expert advice the parliament could ever receive. It would ideally be frank and fearless and capture the common concerns of Indigenous nations across the country.
