James Tedesco has suffered his share of head knocks and the Roosters are cautious looking ahead to Friday week’s top-eight shootout against Souths.
James Tedesco was in good spirits on Saturday following his latest head knock, but the Sydney Roosters will take no chances rushing him back, even if their season goes on the line against bitter rivals South Sydney in just under a fortnight., and what unfolded earlier in the day, but will be forced to sit out next Saturday’s game against Wests Tigers after his head knock was classified as a category one concussion.
The Roosters will need their skipper at his dangerous best against Souths when the club will likely need a win to have any hope of making the finals. However, the Roosters have built a reputation for being ultra-conservative when it comes to giving players time to recover.Roosters legend Boyd Cordner was given plenty of time to deal with his head knocks before ultimately being forced to retire, but said he took comfort from the fact that the No.1 was at the best club for treating concussions.
