Deadpool 3 may bring back one Fox X-Men hero.

Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT One failed character from Fox's X-Men franchise could be given the perfect redemption if they return in Marvel Studios' upcoming Deadpool 3. After Fox's superhero franchise had begun to falter with X-Men: The Last Stand and X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the studio chose to reboot the series with the 1960s-set X-Men: First Class.

Deadpool 3 will bring Ryan Reynolds' Wade Wilson into the MCU after he debuted in 2016's Deadpool as part of Fox's X-Men film series. Along with him, the Deadpool 3 cast will feature Hugh Jackman reprising his role of Wolverine, while Morena Baccarin, Stefan Kapičić, Brianna Hildebrand, and Karan Soni will also be joining the MCU, among several others who have been rumored to be returning.

Deadpool 3 Can Fix X-Men: First Class's Darwin Mistake Edi Gathegi debuted as Armando Muñoz, a.k.a. Darwin, in X-Men: First Class, a mutant with the ability of reactive evolution, being able to adapt his physiology to survive in any given situation. Darwin was an exciting character to introduce to Fox's X-Men franchise, but he was ultimately wasted, killed off by Sebastian Shaw soon after joining the first X-Men team.

Set photos from Deadpool 3 seem to show Deadpool and Wolverine roaming the wilderness of Fox's Marvel universe, which could create the perfect opportunity for Darwin to return. During Marvel Comics' World War Hulk crossover event, Darwin attempted to drain gamma radiation from the Hulk to bring him down, but this was too much for him to bear, and his reactive evolution power caused his body to teleport three states away to protect him.

Deadpool 3 Can Make Darwin's Mutation More Powerful Than Ever While Deadpool 3 could certainly reveal that Darwin teleported out of X-Men: First Class to another place in Fox's X-Men universe, it's also possible that the upcoming MCU film could make Darwin's power even stronger. If the Fox Marvel universe is dying, and Darwin's ability won't let him die, it's possible that the mutant could jump out of his universe and into the MCU in order to survive.
