Hold the line. The party isn't over in Mobile just yet. The legendary Toto (toto99com) will play the MobileSaenger Theatre Saturday. Joseph Williams said he hopes the Mobile audience walks 'away feeling happy about life, with a melody in their brain.'

Playing a show in Mobile right after the revelries of Mardi Gras have given way to the somber sobriety of Ash Wednesday might be a daunting challenge for some bands. Joseph Williams thinks Toto is up to it.

Williams, now on his third stint as Toto vocalist, has been with the group off and on since 1986. He sings alongside guitarist Steve Lukather, who was among the group’s founders. As for the rest of the band, tour promotional materials bill it as the fifteenth incarnation of the group, featuring veteran performers whose credits include work with Huey Lewis and the News, Snoop Dogg, Prince and Ringo Star, among other artists of note.
