Ten teams have already qualified, including the likes of New Zealand, France and Canada,
The pool-stage draw for the Women’s Rugby World Cup England 2025 will take place live on The One Show next week, organisers have announced.
The tournament starts at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light on August 22 and finishes with the final at Twickenham on September 27, with 16 teams set to compete, including the hosts. The teams will be seeded for the draw based on World Rugby rankings, with the top four teams guaranteed to be kept separate and prepopulated into first place in the pools.More than 60,000 tickets have already been sold across the opening match and the bronze match and the final.
“With over 60,000 tickets already sold, the demand and enthusiasm across the country is clear. We look forward to announcing the match schedule and expect high demand across the tournament and all around the country."
