Roman Kemp and Alex Jones , presenters of The One Show , were visibly moved to tears during an emotional segment on Wednesday's programme.
Despite enduring nine months of chemotherapy and radiotherapy, his life could not be saved. Following Mario's passing, Tanisha's family received support from Thames Hospice, which benefits from BBC Children in Need funding. This support helped them process their grief, reports the Mirror. The Challenge Squad, a group of four young individuals who have greatly benefited from BBC Children in Need funding, will be supported by Alex, Roman, and other celebrities yet to be revealed. The squad includes Tanisha, along with Emily, 21, from North London, Ethan, 16, from Bridgend, and Grace, 19, from Glasgow.
