Our hearts! TheOneShow 😢
Alex Jones broke down in tears as she said goodbye to her The One Show co-host Matt Baker, 42, on his last day on the programme.
Matt told Alex as he spoke of their friendship: “I’ve watched your life change as well, you’ve got married and had two children. It’s quite amazing that we’ve been there together for nearly ten years. Thats rare in the world of television, so thank you for all of your support.”She then broke down again, telling Matt: “It just feels so odd. I know when you’re going to speak just by the way you breathe because we’ve been together for that long.
In the mean time, hosts such as Patrick Kielty, BBC’s Media Editor Amol Rajan and comedian Chris Ramsey have filled in for the presenter. "It's been brilliant to showcase the eclectic mix of Britain, meet incredible people along the way and witness so many lives changed with the annual Rickshaw Challenge for Children In Need."
